work or school?

I’ve realised that there’s actually so much to learn when you go out to work.

I’ve never like school and I hate studying. But maybe it’s time to give it a second thought.

I’ve been working for the last 5 months and today’s my last day in the shop. This is the conclusion that I’ve come up with.

  1. never talk back when you get scolded by your boss or your manager when you jolly well know that it is not your fault.
  2. do what you’re told to do even if you know that your “seniors” have always been slacking.
  3. smile at every customers even when they are real nasty.
  4. when it’s time to act like a hypocrite, act like one.
  5. believe only half of what your colleague tells you.

There’s so much that I want to say.Working life is definitely not a best choice. You’ll need to swallow back whatever you’re unhappy with.It is so realistic and everything is so hypocritical.Colleague will always remain as colleague. You don’t even get a chance to fantasize about them being your friends(unless you’re really that naive).

I really feel like scolding that four letter word!(I know that it is inappropriate as this is not a personal diary).

Although there’s so much to hold back when you’re working,I’m still glad that I went out to get a job(as there’s so much to learn. From relationship management to self management). At least for now,I wouldn’t say that I hate schooling or studying.Maybe going out to get a job will make you grow.perhaps..But whatever it is,I guess it’s all about following your heart…

  1. Well, when you work for money, that’s what happens. But then again, as I always say, there’s always a choice. My sister told me once that if I do what I love, I will never have to work a day in my life and it’s worked out pretty well for me the last 13 years :)
